Colleagues and Friends of Student Affairs:
Welcome back from Spring Break for those who took time away from work. If you did, I hope that you were able to relax and get outside. We are quickly wrapping up March and moving into the typically fast paced month of April and on to Commencement in May.
Some students will come back refreshed from Spring Break, and others might come back a bit more stressed. In my message today I’d like to focus on #YouMatterECU Week, and specifically on ARRRGH™ U OK? Day which was created to support mental health and well-being across campus. This day isn’t just about exploring—it’s about experiencing well-being together as a community. I encourage all to learn more about #YouMatterECUWeek and ARRRGH™ U OK? Day. Please encourage our students and ECU community to come together to check in on one another, have meaningful conversations, and enjoy activities designed to uplift and support our Pirates.

Thanks for all you to do to enhance student success and well-being.
