Disability Support Services Launches New Accommodations Portal

Disability Support Services (DSS) is excited to announce the launch of the new DSS Portal, which replaces the previous ClockWork system used to manage accommodations and related services.

The DSS Portal provides a faster, more modern experience for students, faculty, and DSS staff. Key improvements include:

  • Easier access to accommodation information
  • The ability to review accommodations across an entire course
  • Improved workflows for managing exam administration with the DSS Testing Center
  • An enhanced, user-friendly experience for students and faculty

As part of this transition, DSS has also updated the language and descriptions used in accommodation letters to provide greater clarity and guidance for faculty.

While the system has changed, the accommodation process remains the same. Students will continue to send accommodation letters when they wish to use accommodations, and faculty will continue to receive notifications when accommodation letters are available for review.

DSS Portal Training Resources

To support faculty during the transition, DSS is partnering with the Office for Faculty Excellence to offer Navigating the New Disability Support Services Portal. This session provides an overview of the new system, accommodation letter workflows, and testing-related features.

Additional resources, including the DSS Portal Guide for Instructors, are being added to the DSS website.

Thank you for your continued partnership in supporting student access and success.
